Why follow any schedule but your own? With a Monolith, you don't need to. Watch your TV shows on your time. Play, pause, rewind, and skip commercials. Let the Monolith manage the TV schedule while you worry about your own.

Dual Tuners

Two tuners let you record more TV

Everybody knows two is greater than one, which is why every Monolith comes with two tuners. Two tuners means recording two shows at once, less conflicts and more TV. Wether you watch Live TV while recording another show in the background, or record two shows live and watch one you already have recorded, Monolith can handle it.

MythTV gives you options to choose from

When deciding which shows to record, the MythTV software sets the bar with customization options. When choosing a show you can search a channel guide, or list shows by Title, Genre, or Time. There are also powerful search tools which let you find shows based on Actor, Rating (stars) or Keywords. Once a show is selected, you can choose to record only one episode, one episode a week, only on a specific channel, on any channel, or every time it airs on every channel.

Automatically Skip Commercials

Commercials? Skip 'em

Some DVRs boast letting you fast forward through commercials - but why fumble for a remote when shouldn’t have to? While the Monolith records a show it also makes notes to where it believes commercials begin and end. Later, when watching the show, the Monolith simply jumps from one mark to the next creating a seamless experience without any interaction from you.2

Low Cost

High subscription costs for channel guide data are never enjoyable, which is why MonolithMC, Inc. uses SchedulesDirect for all it's channel guide needs. SchedulesDirect is a non-profit company committed to providing localized channel guide information at the cheapest price available3.

A Monolith will also work with your digital cable or satellite subscription. By sending remote IR signals, the Monolith can change channels on your digital cable or set top box. No matter what your setup – Digital Cable, Satellite, DirecTV, Dish Network, or just basic cable – Monolith will work.4
